Food Hygiene and Certification

Chesca’s Cakery operates as a fully registered home bakery with our local council and holds a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating. We follow strict food-safety procedures and maintain up-to-date certifications to ensure every oder is prepared in a safe, clean environment.

Allergen Information

Many of our products contain common allergens including gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soya. Although we take great care when preparing all bakes, our kitchen handles all major allergens, so cr0ss contamintion is always possible.
For this reason, our products are not suitable for those with severe allergies.

If you have specific dietary requirements, please contact us before placing an order.

Dietary Options

We may be able to offer certain dietary alternatives (such as gluten-free or vegan bakes), but these are still prepared in a kitchen where allergens are present. Customers must disclose all allergies or dietary needs when ordering.

Storage and Consumption

To ensure the best quality:

  • Store cakes in a cool, dry place

  • Postal bakes should be kept in an airtight container

  • Follow the storage guidance provided with your order

  • Consume products within the time period noted on the packaging/order card

We cannot accept responsibility for spoilage, deterioration, or unsafe consumption caused by improper storage.

Product Handling and Collection

Once cakes or bakes have been collected or delivered via post, they become the customers responsibility.

We are not liable for:

  • Damage caused while transporting the cake after collection

  • Damage caused by third-party couriers

  • Exposure to heat, humidity, or incorrect handling
